Delta Danube uses a IQF tunnel capable of processing a ton of mushrooms per hour. The process of picking and cooling before freezing does not take more than 30 minutes. Keep the mushrooms before freezing at 2-3 C for about 5 hours to minimize the cost of energy consumed for freezing. All frozen products pass through the detector to the presence of metals in the products. The frozen product is packaged mainly in packs of 10 kilograms. At the request of customers, we pack our products into smaller bags for retail sale (from 400 grams to 2 kilograms). Freezing the mushrooms is another great way to preserve them saving all nutritious qualities and have these morsels handy to cook any time you wish even when they happen to be out of season.
